Moving Elements

- I changed element 1 to having 4 panels as it meant when stacked together, the entire studio space would feel more open
- I also omitted the door to allow for a completely enclosed area if need

- to make element 2 more interesting, instead of having one large glass panel, I cut it into 16 smaller ones, which lifted in a sequence

moving element 1
- panels can move in any direction and in any sequence
moving element 1
- entire studio area can become an open space encouraging collaboration between different groups

moving element 2
- glass panels lift to create indoor/outdoor common area

36 textures

TEXTURE 1

I put this texture on the outdoor area on the top level to contrast against the grass. It is also then visible through the glass on the side of the building.

TEXTURE 2

I used this texture as the back splash in the kitchenette in the common area.

TEXTURE 3

I used this texture on the booths in the study area.

Plan

I chose the J.J Lequeu Plan as I wanted some sort of rounded shape to encourage the theory of collaboration.
- built on top of squarehouse
- bridge to fitness centre

Using it as a Plan

Using it as a section

Basic model of the Plan design in sketchup.

After playing around with the design of both the plan and section, I still preferred my original design from the axis task.
