I used this mix of sketches to create the design of my building. I simplified the top sketch to create my building and rotated the bottom sketch so that the spikes poke out of the ground.

I wanted the building to exist on a ledge so that a glass box could poke out the side of the terrain. This not only allowed more light into the bottom area but also allows views and a new display room.

I wanted the spikes to almost enclose and point toward the top building. This allowed some sort of relationship or communication between the top and bottom buildings although they were not physically touching or connected.

The top of the warehouse is made of glass and one of the sides of the display room is glass. This allows the audience to not only view the works of Mountain and Moon but also witness the building process.
